06 Aug A Cheerful Evening – Opening of the Peacock Gin & Co Bar

In the evening of 26th September, numerous guests and the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl team met to celebrate the opening of the Peacock Gin & Co Bar. With cocktails and drinks they toasted its successful renovation.

For several years the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl has been renovated and embellished bit by bit. Each room has already been refurbished with great attention to detail and shines in new splendor. Just as the function rooms and the restaurants they were relieved from the dusty look of past days.

During the process of modernization the building’s original charm was not disregarded. The historical elements were conserved and accord with the bright colours of the modern furnishing. The Peacock Bar was the last room which was renovated.

Since this is a good reason to celebrate, the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl team invited to a Lounge Night on 26th September. Many guests from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the surrounding area came to the opening. Even the VIPs from Munich came to be part the event.

Fitting to the interior, the whole evening was enlightened with pink neon light. Lively beats ensured a festive mood among all guests. The drinks and cocktails offered completed the cheery atmosphere. The whole evening the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl staff mixed fancy cocktails and extravagant drinks, no guest was left stranded. Besides, savory snacks from the hotel kitchen were served.

The guests could cool down on the panoramic terrace while enjoying the unique view of the Alps and the Zugspitze. Both outside on the terrace and inside in the bar the guests celebrated hilariously until the early morning.
